My mother tongue is English but I’ve lived in Montreal for almost my whole life until I moved to USA a few years ago so my French is pretty good and my family is Italian so although I don’t speak it, the older people in my family speak only Italian to me so I understand it.

That being said, how easy would it be for me to learn Spanish fluently? I already understand a few things in Spanish so that must be a good sign right?

I have been dating my boyfriend for 4 years. He is Dominican and most of his family only speaks Spanish, which leaves me just sitting there feeling awkward and uncomfortable.
