Filed Under rocketspanishreviews | 6 Comments
I am mexican, but only speak enough spanish to get myself into trouble. I need to learn spanish so I can visit family in mexico and communicate effectively and enjoy their company. I am low on funds (to say the least) and don’t get much time to myself (I am a single mother of two). Any suggestions? Thanx!!

Is Spanish the easiest language in the world to learn?
5 vowels. Sounds like it’s spelled.
I know a Korean guy who learned Spanish easier than he learned English. He loves speaking Spanish and hates speaking English.
Are there any languages easier to learn than Espanol?

Why is it difficult for Spanish speakers to learn English?
Filed Under rocketspanishreviews | 11 Comments
I have known people who were here for more than a decade , but doesn’t know how to sya one sentence in the English language. There was this one time that a woman told me that I have to learn spanish so that I can understand her.( am I the only one who finds this bizzare?).Why is it difficult?Im not trying to offend anyone, but Im just wondering.
THERE ARE WORDS IN FRENCH THAT CANNOT BE TRANSLATED INTO ENGLISH…THAT DIDN’T KEEP ME FROM BEINF FLUENT IN ENGLISH…( THIS IS FOR THE PERSON WHO MADE A COMMENTABOUT THE TRANSLATION OF WORDS/SENTENCES)
“BEING” SORRY FOR THE SPELLING
“BEING” SORRY FOR THE SPELLING
EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO SPEAK IN SLANG, THAT DOES NOT STAND IN THE WAY OF ME SPEKAING ENGLISH PROPERLY.I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE TALK SLANG ON TV, IN SCHOOL, IN PUBLIC,..EVERYWHERE..I HAVE NEVER SPOKEN SLANG BEFORE…SO WHAT ARE YOU SAYING??? WHAT ABOUT THE GREAT PERCENTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO DO NOT SPEAK SLANG??? HOW DID THEY DO IT???

I have already had 2 years of Spanish in high school (like 3 years ago) but am wanting to become fluent. Traveling is out of the option as I am in school and I don’t really have time to take a Spanish class (plus I don’t know if that’s the best way to learn). Anyone have any other suggestions on teaching yourself and becoming more fluent in Spanish? I downloaded some learning spanish podcasts but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
